STUDENT ACCESS AND DISABILITY SERVICES
Disability Services
The Office of Student Access and Disability Services provides a variety of accommodations. Accommodations are approved on an individual basis once a student’s eligibility to receive services has been determined.
Here are some of the basic types of accommodations that students have been approved to receive in the past:
Media
- Braille Translations of Course Material
- Enlargements of Course Material
- Alternative Text Resources for Students
Classroom
- Testing Accommodations
- Note-Taking Assistance
- Solutions for physical/mobility needs
It should be noted that this is only a very general list. Disability Services works with each student on an individual basis to find the services and accommodations appropriate for the student. To determine if a specific accommodation applies to you, you must go through theĀ services application process. All requests for accommodation should be consistent with the individual student’s Academic Advisory Plan.
